Joe Styler, Editor

Joe Styler is the founder of Wilder West Assets LLC and the editor of the Arizona Medical Malpractice Resource Center. He is not an attorney.

Joe is a publisher, not a lawyer. Nothing he writes here is legal advice, and no page on this site has been reviewed by an attorney.

Background

Joe has worked in online business for more than twenty years. He started Wilder West Assets LLC to publish plain-English legal information websites built on primary sources.

He aims to check each page against the Arizona statutes and constitutional provisions it describes, explain them in everyday language, show readers which sources were checked, and correct anything found to be wrong.

How pages on this site are written

  1. Read the source. Before a statute, deadline or legal standard goes on a page, it is read in the official source, such as the Arizona Legislature’s website.
  2. Log it. Each fact is recorded with the address of the source and the date it was checked.
  3. Write it plainly. The page explains what the source says without stretching it. Where the law has exceptions, the page says so instead of stating a flat rule.
  4. Show the sources. Every page ends with the list of sources checked for that page.
  5. Leave out what could not be checked. If a point could not be confirmed in a primary source, it is not published.

Software tools, including AI, are used to help research and draft pages. Joe works to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but laws, court rules and deadlines change, and a general guide cannot account for the facts of your situation.

This site is not legal advice. Do not make decisions about a legal matter based on what you read here. The goal of this site is to gather information about Arizona medical malpractice in one place so you are better prepared to talk with a licensed Arizona attorney, who can advise you on your own situation.

The guides here are general. A lawyer can look at your dates and facts.

Corrections policy

Mistakes about the law can hurt people, so we fix them.

  • How to report one. Write to corrections@medicalmalpracticelawyersaz.com. Tell us the page, what you think is wrong and, if you can, where the correct information is found.
  • What we do. We read the message, check the point against the primary source and fix the page if it is wrong. We aim to look at every report promptly.
  • How we show it. When a correction changes the meaning of a page, we update the date at the top and note what changed in the Sources and Corrections box at the bottom of that page.
  • What we cannot do. The corrections address is for errors on the site. We cannot answer questions about your own situation there. For that, use the case review form.

Lawyers, health care professionals and readers are all welcome to write in. You do not need to give your name.

Sources and corrections. This page describes the editor and our process. No legal sources were needed for it. Last checked October 11, 2026. If anything here is wrong, write to corrections@medicalmalpracticelawyersaz.com.
